Anger
Still, anger is almost never a “primary emotion” in that even when anger seems like an instantaneous, knee-jerk reaction to provocation, there always seems to be some other feeling that gave rise to it, and this particular feeling is precisely what anger has created to camouflage itself. Like cycling from a heightened arousal level of fear to an equally intense level of anger...In such instances when external acts coming from other people that instantaneously threaten our well-being or in cases of sustained threats, Anger may arise out of an unnecessary or avoidable, potential danger to ourselves from first an instantaneous arousal of fear, that subsides as the threat diminishes; as a result the unnecessary actions of those person(s) that threatened our well-being quickly turns to anger that is equal to the intensity of fear we felt while endangered. This happens with such breathtaking speed that almost no one can recollect that flash of agitation preceding the anger—or even rage. (And rage itself seems mostly a more potent, or desperate, form of anger created to fend off an even more serious threat to one's ego or sense of personal safety—whether that threat is mental, emotional, or physical.) At that time anger is proved, the inner state of a person resembles a cave where fire has broken out, filling it with flames and suffocating clouds of smoke that leap out of its mouth with intense heat and a fiery cry. When that happens, it becomes extremely difficult to pacify such a person and to extinguish the fire of his/her wrath; whatever is thrown in it to cool it down becomes a part of the fuel that feeds it adding to its intensity. It is for this reason that such a person becomes blind and deaf to guidance and good etiquette's. In such a condition, all such efforts as counsel, advice, and exhortation fail to appease the person. The more one tries to pacify this level of anger through humble requests and efforts, the more violent it becomes until the angry person physically harms someone or seeks revenge.

At times, anger belies {disguises or gives the wrong impression} towards the fragility of the ego that must depend on it for shielding and support. Such are case of unintentional or accidental arousal of fear from external sources. Be the unintentional, sometimes they are altogether unnecessary & avoidable, yet the transformation of fear,[like the general dynamics of energy, Energy never seizes to existence, but instead only changes state i.e {motion to friction to heat to propulsion, etc.}], in a similar fashion turns to anger, and its further energy transformation lies within the person(s) to control that transfer from be channeled into negative actions {attacking verbally or physically} or helping to diminish its intensity through a positive action {like walking it off}.
One “chemical” explanation of how anger—in the moment at least—can act as a sort of "psychological Ointment" {that excretes to protect}. One of the known hormones the brain secretes during anger arousal is norepinephrine, experienced by the organism as an analgesic {drug that acts to relieve pain}.
In effect, whether individuals are confronted with physical or psychological pain (or the threat of such pain), the internal activation of the anger response will precipitate the release of a chemicals expressly designed to numb it. This is why anger has been studied and viewed as a double-edged sword: terribly detrimental to relationships but nonetheless crucial in enabling many vulnerable people to emotionally survive in them.
Dealing with matters of the self; self-defeating symptomatic anger covers up the pain of our "core hurts." These key distressful emotions include: feeling ignored, unimportant, accused, guilty, untrustworthy, devalued, rejected, powerless, unlovable—or even unfit for human contact (cf. John Bradshaw's "shame-based identity"). Therefore, its reasonable argument that if the self-elicitation of anger can successfully fend off such hurtful or unbearable feelings, one might eventually become dependent on the emotion to the point of addiction. The danger of addiction to anger is thus contributed to a persons on self-perception, criticism or inability to overcome these debilitating ideals about ones self. The psychological concept of self-soothing is unquestionably relevant here. For we all need to find ways of comforting or reassuring ourselves when our self-esteem is endangered—whether through criticism, dismissal, or any other outside stimuli that feels invalidating and so revives old self-doubts. If we're healthy psychologically, then we have the internal resources to self-validate: “To admit to ourselves possible inadequacies without experiencing intolerable guilt or shame. But if, deep down, we still feel bad about who we are, our deficient sense of self simply won't be able to withstand such external threats.”
[Steven Stosny's excellent book Treating Attachment Abuse,(1995)]

Society today bears an uncanny resemblance to the The pre-Islamic era [Before revealing of Quran] where there were tragedies in the various mental and material fields. Moral dissolution and disorder were among the most horrible tragedies that caused people to resemble beasts in their natures. Dog-eat-dog, law of jungle, disagreements of every kind, fighting, killing, usurpation, and declamation of revenge and retaliation which would persist sometimes for generations.
When the dawn of Islam {submission to the “ONE” GOD=ALLAH} rose again with the advent of the last Prophet Muhammad (saw) upon mankind, its light spread over the people of Arabia and throughout the world through its immortal principles and unparalleled constitution of for brother/sister-hood and justice...As a result it stopped all the ignorant tragedies among-st tribes and miraculously transformed illiterate Bedouins into "the best nation that ever existed among humanity." Faith replaced atheism, order replaced disorder, knowledge replaced ignorance, peace replaced war, and mercy replaced retaliation. As they progressed under the guidance of the prophet & the guidance he recited to them of the Quran, Muslims surpassed every standard in generosity. The principle of an spiritual fraternity from such a method of guidance could not be achieved by any other code prior. Meaning, the Islamic Empire was one of spiritual fraternity and not one upon conquest & greed...Islam sought to liberate the world again from the paganism, idolatry, and tyranny of the then Byzantium & Persian empires who were both disbelievers {Polytheist and fire worshipers respectively}. Moreover, the ties of belief became stronger than those of kinship, and, likewise, the bonds of faith exalted over the tribal and national bonds. Muslims, hence, became a united nation of compact lineup, high edifice, and fluttering tranquility that was contagious to its onlookers. Despite the fact that the evils in the world then {just like now} exceeded the temperament of dialogue; Force was needed to overcome these evils unsheathing the sword...But when the dust settled, the world enjoyed golden age periods where the true blessing of life flourished.
When people became to cowardice and or accept the degenerating conditions around them, society naturally takes on and promotes within itself hostility that are usually carried out against other peoples who feel the same frustrations of society, rather than being more productively directed at the sources of societal mischief...
Feeling ignored, unimportant, accused, guilty, untrustworthy, devalued, rejected, powerless, unlovable—or even unfit for human contact "shame-based identity"; are just symptoms of a negative approach to oneself, but can also been induced upon an individual, group, or nation. For Muslims living in Western lands, or even within failing Muslim countries who have opened the doors to disbelievers who flood in with all there diseases {literal & figurative}, change the atmosphere of culture by capturing many through the material tragedies people succumb to while simultaneously creating the mental alienation’s upon the diminishing group that resist and persist upon truth. Therefore, its easy for Muslims to feel ignored unimportant, accused, guilty, untrustworthy, devalued, rejected, powerless, unlovable & thus hated, and alienated in such ways that human contact becomes scarce and promoted by societal disenfranchisement something you wouldn’t expect in Muslim countries, but tend to see more as a mechanism used to enforce conformity. Therefore, if such feelings can be attributed to why people become addicted to anger, Oppressed people should then take a closer look into how these strategies are employed and used. After all, doesn’t racism promote the same kind of feelings? Common sense often becomes so infamously valuable at analyzing problems, more-so than the exhausting medical analysis by people who dare to see the structures at work in society because they benefit professionally = financially. These same people whose ancestral lineages have infested the world with skin-color superiority {which is actually due to their own inferiority}, classicism, and other philosophies are determined to remain detached from their own actions.
How such tactics can and have caused groups to sporadically act out in frustrations that allow its fabricators to respond by jailing {which is modern enslavement}, kill, or further demonstrate the propaganda of demoni-zation upon that group by their unorganized outburst. This is exactly, what is meant by, “He who loves, hates, gives, deprives-all for the sake of Allah”; For in this manner only does a group have proper organization and control over its anger, and like energy, the transformation of that energy can manifest itself into a more impactful force that eradicates the mechanisms that support divisions where tyranny can persist. Cowardice and agents of hypocrisy who hide within the ranks have to be weeded out!!!
Holy Quran 49:10
The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.
On another occasion, the Quran confirms the law of fraternity and warns against factors of disagreement, reminding of the grace of the Islamic fraternity and harmony after long periods of disagreement and fighting:
Holy Quran 3:103
And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.
In abstract, Islam has exerted all efforts for strengthening the spiritual fraternity among Muslims and protecting it against trends of disagreement and separation through the constitution of the social ties.
As a model, we provide the following:
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُونَ

Holy Quran 61:3
Great is hatred in the sight of Allah that you say what you do not do.

Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they are a [single] structure joined firmly.
The Prophet (s) said: "The mutual love of the believers that is intended sincerely for the sake of Allah is one of the greatest classes of faith. He who loves, hates, gives, deprives-all for the sake of Allah is surely one of the choices of Allah."

- Love, hate, giving, deprivation, support, and disappointment-all these should be for the sake of Allah. Such being the case, the handles of fraternity will become firmer and Muslims will become in the likeness of the well-established building each part of which strengthens the other.

Allah created everything in pairs; the tangible and intangible, seen & unseen, and even the metaphysical; {Abstract, theoretical, conceptional, notional, philosophical, speculative, intellectual, academic}...The positive and negative elements that reside in all things we see and feel such as anger and happiness allow us the proper reference of a full experience, for without one side we can’t fully understand the other, nor can one exist without the other. This duality of things serves the duality of our nature {soul created to live forever is from a pure substance that is nourished only through spiritual exercise, while the nafs or body is made of the earth in which we reside and the foods we eat contain all the same properties of the earth that nourish the body}. But unlike the soul, the substance of the body, in terms of a balance like the one depicted below. If when the body overtake the spiritual essence of ourselves then we are inclined to more lowly or worldly temptations, while on the other had we can’t always function in a high spiritual sense while we still reside in our worldly lives...Thus an equal balance of control is sought. This equilibrium is where we {human-being} find our perfect harmonic frequency with ourselves and the rest of creation.

It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.
Pairs...The coming together of the man and woman is the cause of man’s own birth with the exception of Adam, Eve and Esa Ibn Mariam {Jesus} which concludes the three ways Allah has chosen to create humanity...
Procreation among the animals also is due to the combination between the male and the female. Also about vegetation, hermaphroditic organisms which carry its own seed, or through pollination through transferring insects; man knows that the law of sex is working in it. Even among the lifeless substances when different things combine with one another, a variety of compounds come into existence. The basic composition of matter itself has become possible due to the close affinity between the positive and the negative electric charges upon substances. This law of the pairs forms the basis of the existence of the entire universe.
Again, likened in similarity to our present day, the disbelieves of Mecca were being warned and reproved for their denial of the truth and about their attitudes of antagonism, which they adopted towards the Prophet (saw). The same basic discourses that contributed to conflict between the pagan Arabs and the pagans of today... This same primary difference that seeks dominance in the world today through its materialism & other relevant ideals, still can’t debunk the doctrine of tawhid {oneness of Allah; 1st of Ten Commandments for Christians} and the Hereafter {life after death}, all of which the Prophet (saw) was presenting and the disbelievers were refusing to accept. In connection to this, is the reason why Allah puts forward these arguments in the Quran, one after the other, to make the people ponder over the realities, as if to say, “Observe these phenomena of the universe, which are ever present before you. Do they not point to the same reality, which this Prophet is presenting before you”?
Consider the reality of the Sun, earth, its moon, and associated nearby other planets that make up the Milky Way Galaxy and the mention of these celestial bodies swimming in orbit. This was unknown to people during the time of the Prophet (saw) and prior to his prophethood. The substances of which it {the Earth} is composed do not possess any power of their own for growth. All these substances individually as well as after every sort of combination, remain inorganic, and thus do not possess any sign of life. The question put forward then is, “How did it become possible for plant life to emerge from the lifeless earth”? If one looks into it, one will see that there are some important factors without whose provision beforehand life here could not have come into existence. For example:
- Adam, no father or mother; created by Allah
- Hawah {Eve} created from a portion of the man {Adam}
- Esa ibn Mariam a.s, created by the portion of the female his mother {Mariam a.s} with no father

If one looks into it, one will see that there are some important factors without whose provision beforehand life here could not have come into existence. For example:
- First, in particular regions of the earth, on its outer surface, a layer was arranged of many such substances, which could serve as food for vegetation. This layer was kept soft so that the roots of the vegetation could spread in it and affix themselves deep in the other for its nourishment & food source.
- Secondly, a system of irrigation was arranged on the earth in different ways so that the food elements could get dissolved in water and absorbed by the roots.
- Thirdly, the atmosphere was arranged around the earth which protects it against the calamities of the sky, this becomes a means of the rainfall, and possesses gases which are necessary for the life and growth of the vegetation and human-beings.
- Fourthly, a relationship was established between the sun and the earth so as to provide proper temperature and suitable seasons for the vegetation; While the moon changes face depicting the different phases of time periods & harvest {lunar calendar ancient peoples} in contrast to the {sun or Gregorian calendar utilized by pagan Europeans}.

There is still another argument for Tawheed {one God/Allah}. Here again certain realities of daily experience have been mentioned and it is suggested that man observes these day and night but does not ponder over them seriously, whereas they contain signs and pointers to his own reality.

Salman al-Farsi -the Persian (ra)- and Umar Ibn Al-Khattab (ra) were among some companions of the prophet (saw) who began mentioning their tribes and lineages proudly. Umar (ra) asked Salman, "What is your tribe?" Salman answered, "I am Salman the son of Allah’s servant. I was astray, but Allah guided me through our Prophet (saw). I was poor, but Allah made me rich through our Prophet (saw). I was slave, but Allah set me free through our prophet (saw). This is my lineage, Umar."
As he was told of the previous discussion, the Prophet (saw) commented, "O’ People of Quraish! A man's lineage is his religion, personality is his moralities, and origin {knowing we are souls created for higher purpose} is his intellect. Allah says:

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted. |
