- Holy Quran 3:137
------------------
Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied.
Believers! If you pay heed to some of those who have been given revelations, they will cause you to renounce the truth after you have accepted the faith. But how can you sink into disbelief when Allah’s revelations are being recited to you and His messenger is in your midst {in modern terms, the Quran is still with us as well as the prophets traditions}? He who holds fast to Allah has already been guided along a straight path. (Surah al-Imran Verses 100-1).
If the Muslim community is brought into existence in order to assume the leadership of mankind, how is it possible for that community to receive instructions from the very ignorance which it aims to eradicate? Because corruption has overtaken our leaders, fear of dying, love of this temporary life, disobedience & disbelief, and lack of solidarity world-wide...the Muslim community has abandoned its role of leadership. So, what purpose has it to exist today? Perhaps this is the question Muslims should ask themselves to better understand the reality and perception we carry. Our leadership was/is to provide correct concepts and beliefs for human life according to {all the revelations passed down from Adam a.s to Muhammad s.a.w}the laws ordained by Allah, which promote environments to perfect moral standards and perfect social set-up...These perfections cannot be carried out on an individual or group basis, but rather requires the consensus of the entire community. Self checking one another on conditions that improve our individuality is directly proportionate to the society as a whole.
Yes of course, this is perhaps the largest mistake because it takes the community at large to implement these leadership characteristics, even if our rulers were influenced otherwise, if the community adhered to Allah then these implementations to society would not be hindered to say the least. In fact, this type of solidarity wouldn’t allow rulers to go in the opposite direction at all, and thus hold them accountable in their roles. In such a healthy situation, the human intellect makes its constructive contribution based on the talents & gifts we have all been given {instead of accepting societal roles we’re told to fill} as it tries to learn the secrets of the universe and manipulate its potentials. The leadership which permits and controls all that potential, using it for the benefit of mankind, not to threaten human life with destruction, nor to devote it to satisfy carnal desires, belongs to faith only. It is given to the Muslim community to lead in this type of awareness, which seeks Allah’s guidance and does not allow itself to be dictated to by anyone of Allah’s servants {created things i.e. Man enslaved by other men}.
In fact, to follow the people of earlier revelations {Jews & Christians} and to copy their methods and systems indicate an inner defeat in itself and further suggests that the Muslim community has abandoned its leadership role just as those previous generations abandoned the true teachings of those respective prophets {Musa a.s & Esa ibn Mariam a.s} whom they now say they follow... Both groups have lost entirely the scripture each Nabi brought, and in addition lost the purity of these messages which has impacted their societies and now plague the world with this same corruption. Going even further into the consequences of these early warning diagnostic of symptoms, It also suggests the existence of doubts already in the minds of the Muslims about the adequacy of the Divine system to organize and elevate human life. These very doubts are the beginnings of what creeps into the heart of disbelief, even though in these earlier stages one may not sense the approaching danger.
The people of earlier revelations, on the other hand, are keen to turn the Muslim community away from its faith, which represents both its line of defence and its driving force. Islam is both a defensive & offensive reality, as sovereignty is to Allah the creator, and by that human-beings are the inheritors of a dominion entrusted them to enjoy as well as protect...So both components serve that function. The enemies of Islam are well aware of this, as they have always been in every era. Hence, they spare no effort and resort to all manners of schemes and designs so as to divert the Muslim community from its proper way. When they realise that they cannot win an open war against the faith of Islam, they resort to evil. When they feel they cannot launch a war against it by themselves, they recruit hypocrites who pretend to be Muslims so that they work against Islam from within, advocating different systems and pledging their loyalty to different leaderships, which is a summary of today’s confusing affairs in relationship to what is true and what is made to appear true. Hence the stern warning at the opening of this writing...
Holy Quran 3:99
------------------
Say, "O People of the Scripture {Jews & Christians}, why do you avert from the way of Allah those who believe, seeking to make it [seem] deviant, while you are witnesses [to the truth]? And Allah is not unaware of what you do."
Holy Quran 3:100

O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back, after your belief, [to being] unbelievers.
Holy Quran 3:101
------------------
And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger {Today we have no prophet but we still have Quran & Sunnah}? And whoever holds firmly to Allah has [indeed] been guided to a straight path.
At the time of the Prophet, no sahaba r.a.a {companion of the prophet(s)} was more daunted by anything other than to find him or herself sinking back into disbelief after he/she had accepted the faith. That meant throwing himself back into the fire of hell after he/she had been saved from it. This applies to every true Muslim across generations. Hence, a warning in such terms is sufficient to alert his/her conscience and keep it wide awake. Today, we are addressed by the Quran in the same manner that the first generation was address by it.

And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.
The Prophet used to adopt a very strict attitude with his Companions in matters of faith and with regard to their way of life in general. However, at the same time, he {s.a.w} would allow them to use their own discretion in practical matters, which would rely on a variety of experiences and gathered knowledge. Nonetheless their lives were enhanced by applying the methods of islam in their practical affairs. This contributed to a broader understanding of the companions r.a.a as Islam looks into each case specifically. Examples of these include military strategy, agriculture and all purely scientific matters which belong to a domain that has no bearing on faith, social system or the relationships which regulate man’s life. The way of life adopted by an individual or a certain society has nothing to do with pure or applied science.
The religion of Islam, which has been revealed to conduct human life according to a certain Divine method, makes its directive clear to man to seek knowledge and to benefit by every material discovery or scientific advancement, provided that this is made within the context of implementing Islam’s own method of life, which provide the proper safe-checks and longevity for human & surrounding creation benefit.

Imām Ahmad relates, on the authority of `Abdullāh ibn Thābit, that `Umar came to the Prophet one day and said: “Messenger of God! I have asked a Jewish friend of mine from the tribe of Quraiżah to write me the basic teachings of the Torah. Shall I read them to you? The Prophet’s face changed colour when `Umar said that.” `Abdullāh ibn Thābit turned to `Umar and said: “Do you not see the expression on God’s messenger’s face?” `Umar said immediately: “I believe in God as my only Lord, accept Islam as my faith and Muĥammad as God’s messenger.” The Prophet’s face regained its normal colour and he said: “By Him who holds my soul in His hand, if Moses comes back to you tomorrow and you follow him and leave me you will go astray. You are my share of nations and I am your share of Prophets.”
”You are my share of nations and I am your share of Prophets”...What that means is at the time of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w many Jewish tribes as well as Christians had settled in and around Yathrib {ancient name of Medina} to await the coming last prophet as prophesied by Esa ibn Mariam a.s {Jesus}. Unlike other prophets who were sent specifically to their own ethnic tribes/people if you will...Muhammad s.a.w was sent to all nations & creation, thus the phrase You are my share of nations...And since all prophets called to the worship of ONE ilah {God/Allah} only varying in laws abiding the different ages...Muhammad s.a.w the last prophet is the culmination of all prophets/messengers and revelation to humanity. Thus, I am your share of Prophets.
A ĥadīth reported by Jābir quotes the Prophet as saying: “Do not ask the people of the earlier revelations about anything, for they will not guide you aright when they have gone astray. You will have one of the two alternatives: either you will accept a falsehood, or you will reject a truth. Had Musa a.s {Moses} been living among you, the only course lawful to him would be to follow me.” The Prophet is also quoted as saying: “Had Moses and Jesus been alive, they would have had to follow me.”
Why then would Musa a.s or Jesus a.s be required to follow Muhammad s.a.w....Because we are in the time of Muhammad’s s.a.w prophethood and revelation/law; thus the prior nations had their laws and prophets, and each was abrogated by Allah with the advent of each successive prophet(s) who followed. The Prophet makes our position abundantly clear when it comes to following their guidance in matters of faith, ideological concepts, law or way of life. However, Islam imposes no restriction whatsoever on its followers when it comes to benefiting by the advances of any group of people in any branch of science. We have only to relate these advances to our own approach to everything in the universe, knowing that God has enabled man to make use of everything on earth so as to achieve a higher and more secure standard of living. We should also be grateful to God for enabling us to make such discoveries and for facilitating our use of the resources and potentials He has placed in the universe. We express our gratitude to Him by worshipping Him alone and by making the right use of our advances.
When it comes to asking the followers of other religions about concepts of faith, the purpose of human life, its method, laws and regulations, its moral values and codes, we find the Prophet’s face changing colour at the slightest indication of such. Allah {God} gives the Muslim community a stern warning against being led by others in any such matter. The ultimate result of that is nothing but the total rejection of faith.
In the light of this directive from Allah {God} and the guidance of His Messenger, where do we, who claim to be Muslims, stand today? We are taking Orientalists and their disciples as our teachers when we study the Qur’ān and the ĥadīth of the Prophet. We are also formulating our concepts of life and existence on the basis of what we learn from these Orientalists, as well as from Greek, Roman, European and American philosophers. We borrow our regulations and laws from these suspect sources...we also borrowing our manners, code of conduct, and morality from the stinking immorality into which the modern material civilisation has fallen. Yet we still claim to be Muslims! Such a claim is worse than open disbelief. Why? Because open disbelief is without hypocrisy...This even coincides with what the prophet s.a.w said about punishment, which the munafiqoon (hypocrites) are in the lowest levels of Hell. For when we take such a stance, while our state of affairs is as such, we testify to our own individual & collective failures to Islam. Such a testimony is not made even by non-Muslims because they stand confidently in supporting the doctrine in which they are imposing upon the world, although they are deceptive in doing so.
Man has made great advances in utilising the resources and potentials of the universe. His achievements in medicine and industry are miraculous when compared with his past. Fresh discoveries and triumphs still await us. But what is the effect of all this on human life? Has it given man happiness, security and peace? The answer is in the negative. What humanity has found instead is enslavement, misery, worry, fear, neurological and psychiatric disease, in addition to widespread perversion and crime. Moreover, it has made no progress whatsoever in the formulation of a sound concept dealing with the purpose of human existence. Certain groups of people strive to deprive man of Allah’s {God’s} method and guidance. It is they who describe man’s aspiration to implement this method as “reaction”. They dismiss it as a mere nostalgia for the historical past. Whether this be the result of their ignorance or their ill-will, they actually deprive humanity of the right to aspire to the only method which can lead it to perfect peace and happiness, as well as to progress and development. We, who believe in this method, know perfectly well what we call for. We see the misery of mankind and we see as well, over the horizon, the real possibility for mankind’s salvation. We are also aware that unless the leadership of mankind is given over to this method, then man will sink into even further deprivation.

Do not allow death to overtake you before you have surrendered yourselves truly to Him.” The timing of death is beyond the reach of our knowledge. No man can be certain when death will overtake him. Hence, if anyone wants to die a Muslim, in the full sense of the word, he must surrender him or herself to Allah {God}, right here and now. He must also abide by the requirements of this surrender at all times. The fact that Islam is mentioned after the command to have fear of Allah {God} points to its wider implications: total surrender and submission to Allah {God}, complete obedience and implementation of His method, and making His book {Quran} the final arbiter in all affairs. Faith and brotherhood are the two pillars upon which the structure of the Muslim community is built. If either of them collapses, the very existence of the Muslim community is undermined, and its great role comes to nothing. No Divine method of life can come into operation in any community without it. In its absence, there are only ignorant methods and ignorant leadership.

And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided...
This verse was revealed on the occasion of a Jewish leader from Madinah passing by a group of Muslims from both the Aws tribe and the Khazraj tribe. When he looked at them a sudden awareness overtook him. He realized that their past hostility had been replaced by genuine love and brotherhood; however, He was determined to spoil this healthy atmosphere. He sent a man with instructions to sit with those people and remind them of their past hostilities, and the fierce battles that had taken place between them, particularly the Battle of Bu`āth, in which both tribes suffered heavy casualties. The man was successful in his mission and soon tempers were boiling among that group. In their anger, some of the tribesmen repeated their old slogans. Someone called for his sword. Others repeated the same call. Someone even suggested that they should meet for battle the following day outside Madinah. When the Prophet s.a.w received intelligence of what was taking place between them, he went hurriedly to them and tried hard to cool their tempers. He said to them: “Do you resort to your ignorant ways when I am living in your midst?” He recited to them the Qur’ānic verse: “And remember the blessings God has bestowed on you: how, when you were enemies [to one another] He united your hearts and, by His grace, you have become brothers; and how, when you were on the brink of an abyss of fire, He saved you from it.” (Verse 103) They soon regained their senses and regretted what had happened. Peace prevailed anew among them and they hugged each other in genuine brotherly love. They had been rightly guided when God’s revelation was made clear to them. Hence, the concluding comment in that Qur’ānic verse is an apt description of their case: “Thus God makes clear His revelations to you, so that you may be rightly guided.”
This is just one example of Jewish efforts to sever the bond which unites those who love Allah {God} and follow the Divine method and make of them a model community, providing leadership for the rest of mankind. Every time a true Muslim community comes into existence, holding fast to the bond of Allah {God} and implementing His constitution, the Jews start their scheming to create division among them.

Jewish tribes in Arabia
The word Jew doesn't describe an ethnic group as many people come to consider today; instead it defines more so those who had converted to the faith of Musa a.s. (Moses). Adapting the language of Hebrew, they today (the Jew) claim the ethnicity but it is clear that they are not. With the prophecy of Eesa Ibn Mariam a.s. about the last messenger who was to come after him who name is "AHMAD", WHICH TRANSLATES TO ARAMAIC AS "COMFORTER" GREEK "PARACLETOS"; led the tribes of Jews to Arabia where they settled to await the last prophet, because they knew Ahmad was a name of Arab origin. Some of the Jewish tribes of Arabia historically attested include:

The task of the Muslim community is to implement/ Demonstrate the Divine method in human society, and to help truth to triumph over falsehood, goodness over evil. This task is stated in the following verse:
Holy Quran 3:104 ------------------ وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful. And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment. |
It is imperative for this community to come into existence so as to invite all to that which is good, and to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. The Qur’ānic statement imparts that this must be done through a real authority which can invite, enjoin and forbid. Anyone may be able to invite to what is good, but no one can
enjoin what is good and forbid what is bad unless he/she is equipped with real authority. Unfortunately, the Islamic community world-wide lacks this authority although on the micro-level communities do exist, but unfortunately they still lack true authority of power. For example, these communities are predominantly muslim as a result the local municipality offices are more so being occupied by muslims, but legislative, Judicial & police power is still not acquired. Therefore, these communities aren’t able to enforce or promote anything with true authority. We are then only left to moral policing of community by elders and other devote muslims who help to keep Muslims in-remembrance of themselves in relationship to Allah...However, the non-muslims that reside in predominantly muslim areas are free to act out in public many immoral indecencies. In addition, the community isn’t safe from passerby’s and the corruption they bring...
This is the proper Islamic view of the matter. It is essential that there should be an authority to undertake the task of advocating what is good and removing what is evil. The units which constitute this authority must combine together, hold fast to their bond with God, and translate their brotherhood into a manifested, demonstrated, reality.

O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason.
Holy Quran 3:119

Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture - all of it. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, "Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of that within the breasts."

If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do...
This warning is not limited to any particular period of history. It applies at all times. It deals with a situation which may exist at any time, as it does indeed in our present time.
The Muslims though remain heedless of their Lord’s directive not to develop any intimate friendship with anyone other than their own people. All other people are inferior to the Muslims in their way of life, methods and nature. God tells the Muslims not to make any such people their advisors and confidants. Yet the Muslims do not heed this directive. They continue to refer to such people in every matter and situation and look up to them for guidance in every system, method and philosophy.

We should note that Islam meets all this hostility with tolerance. It simply commands the Muslims not to take such people as their intimate friends. It does not, however, encourage a policy of measure for measure with the unbelievers while their hatreds remain in the form on non-violent physically. It does not require them to return the unbelievers’ hate, grudges and evil schemes with similar feelings and attitudes. It seeks only to provide protection for the Muslim community. It simply warns the Muslims of the danger presented by other people.
“Go about the earth”, because the earth is a single unity and a stage on which human life is played out. Life is an open book for people of intellect to contemplate.

So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you are superior if you are [true] believers.
“Go about the earth and see what was the fate of those who described the truth as lies.” Their fate is evidenced by what they have left behind and by what we know of their history. The Qur’ān mentions some of these in different places. In some cases, it identifies people, places and times. In other instances, it makes general references which establish a general rule: what happened to those who rejected the truth and described it as a lie in past generations will happen to those who reject the truth today and tomorrow. This reassures the Muslim community in respect to what will ultimately happen, and, on the other hand, it serves as a warning against being too complacent with such people. The ability to distinguish between truth and falsehood, or between following guidance and going astray is rarely lacking among people. By nature, the truth is self-evident it resonants within the conscious essence of our being. What people lack is the desire to follow the truth and the ability to prefer its implementation, because these are initiated only by faith and cannot be sustained without the fear of Allah {God}. This explains the need for the repeated emphasis in the Qur’ān on the fact that the truth is guidance, light and admonition only for the believers and the God-fearing. It is these qualities which enable man to make use of this guidance and benefit by its light, regardless of the difficulties one may face. For example, there are many people who know the truth but who, nevertheless, remain immersed in falsehood either because they yield to temptation and desire or because they fear to share in the hardship which the followers of the truth may have to endure.

Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?
When hardship is followed by prosperity and the latter is followed by another hardship, people’s true characters emerge. They reveal how clear their vision is, how much they panic and how patient in adversity they can be, as well as how great their trust in God is and how submissive to His will they are. Thus true believers are distinguished from those who are hypocrites. The Muslim camp is strengthened by the fact that those who do not truly belong to it are identified and excluded.

Lessons to be drawn from the events of battle and how these help in educating the Muslim community, purging it from foreign elements and preparing it for its nobler role. In this way it becomes {battle} a means by which, Allah uses to wipe out unbelievers and a manifestation of His ability {through is believers} to crush those who reject the truth and describe it as lies: “And God wants to test and prove the believers, and to blot out the unbelievers.”
Else where Allah mentions is Quran is choosing methods under the Prophet Saul and their appointed king who led the army David {prophet & king David} was part who killed Goliath:

Have you not considered the assembly of the Children of Israel after [the time of] Moses when they said to a prophet of theirs, "Send to us a king, and we will fight in the way of Allah "? He said, "Would you perhaps refrain from fighting if fighting was prescribed for you?" They said, "And why should we not fight in the cause of Allah when we have been driven out from our homes and from our children?" And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, Allah has sent to you Saul as a king." They said, "How can he have kingship over us while we are more worthy of kingship than him and he has not been given any measure of wealth?" He said, "Indeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills.
And when Saul went forth with the soldiers, he said, "Indeed, Allah will be testing you with a river. So whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is indeed of me, excepting one who takes [from it] in the hollow of his hand." But they drank from it, except a [very] few of them. Then when he had crossed it along with those who believed with him, they said, "There is no power for us today against Goliath and his soldiers." But those who were certain that they would meet Allah said, "How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient."
Holy Quran 2:250
------------------
And when they went forth to [face] Goliath and his soldiers, they said, "Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
Proving the quality of people is a harder task than drawing a distinction between them...This is something that is accomplished through working on people’s hearts and souls. Its aim is to bring into the open the secret elements of which men’s characters are made, in order to throw out any foreign elements. Thus, characters become purged and clear, and accept the truth without hesitation. They suffer no ambiguity or confusion and the truth is upheld & defended at any cost.
It is often the case that man is not fully aware of himself and by what or how his character is influenced. He might not be aware of his strengths and weaknesses, of what has sunk into him and become very difficult to bring out. This process of testing and proving, which God operates through dealing out days of fortune and days of misfortune to people, enables the believers to better know themselves.
A man may think himself dedicated and free of meanness or love of material luxuries. When he is exposed to a practical test, however, and when he faces up to actual events, he may discover that he still has certain traces remaining which make it exceedingly difficult for him to withstand the sort of pressures to which he is exposed. It is far better that he becomes aware of these weaknesses in order to try again to mould his character in such a way which enables him/her to resist such influence into the future. God Himself supervised the first Muslim community which He had chosen to lead mankind. He wanted them to fulfil a certain purpose on earth. Therefore, He put them to the test at Uĥud so that they could prove themselves and rise to a level which made it possible for them to accomplish what God intended for them. Thus again the verses:

Quran 3:141.
And that Allah may purify the believers [through trials] and destroy the disbelievers.
Holy Quran 3:142
------------------
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast?
These verses start with a rhetorical question, the purpose of which is to correct the misconcepts formed by people on the patterns of how Muslims have been established by Allah for the advocacy of His faith; Outlines through historical examples in stories how victory is achieved and defeat is suffered; the importance of action that carry out true faith and what reward it merits, etc. The Qur’ān makes it clear that the road to heaven is attended by many difficulties and undesirable things. Therefore, It is certainly a mistake for any man/women to think that it is sufficient for him/her to only say that he has accepted Islam and not be ready to die for it in order to fulfil the duties which are required of him/her as one of the believers. It is important to remember here that the fulfilment of such duties earns that person the greatest prize of all...namely that of admission to heaven.
One can clearly see in the world today, all of the many battles that are leading us into the fulfillment of Prophecy on the 3rd world war. We can clearly see the amount of refugees who are fleeing their homelands to escape all of the horrors of war...However, what we are not seeing are true Muslims uniting in defensive jihads (struggles against) the oppressing force either within or from external sources. Fighting on the battlefield may be one of the lightest of these tasks which demand patience and prove the strength of faith. There is, in addition, the never-ending, uphill task of maintaining the standards of behaviour commensurate with faith, developing a set of values which are not only based on the principles of faith but are also reflected in one’s feelings and attitudes. There is also the need for perseverance & preservation which, helps people overcome their weaknesses, whether these be within themselves or in others with whom they deal in the course of daily life. This is the poison of cultures stripped from the rememberance of Allah, and although there are Muslims living in the west; Realistically if never a family or individual ever asks themselves in comparative comparison to how much they remember Allah to that of how much they are influenced in opposition to that...deviously. Then it is pretty certain that one is living an illusionary version of Islam in comparison to that which is worthy of entering us into Jannah {external paradise}. Instead, what appears to be victorious, and stronger than the truth {ideologically or objectively by the faithful}; when the way ahead appears to be too long, too hard and full of difficulties; when a moment of relaxation appears to be all that one can care for after a long period of hard struggle. Then the war is lost from losing all the small important battles, many of which preserve, defensively the minds & hearts of the muslims from foreign particles impressed upon the heart that weaken it from its reproving {purification}.

They are put face to face with death, which they already faced on the battlefield. Since they used to wish for death, they should weigh their words against the facts they have seen with their own eyes. We are thus taught how words must reflect practical reality. For example, fighting is one form of jihad; while other forms of the same struggle in giving ones life exist in daily applications of safe-guards and preservation of faith, truth and justice...
In this way, we learn the value of words, wishes and pledges. What attains us heaven is the credence we give to our words and the fulfilment of our pledges. In practice, that necessitates hard striving and patience in adversity. When we demonstrate all that in practical life, all our hopes are fulfilled.
Holy Quran 3:143
------------------
And you had certainly wished for martyrdom before you encountered it, and you have [now] seen it [before you] while you were looking on.
Holy Quran 3:145
------------------
And it is not [possible] for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined. And whoever desires the reward of this world - We will give him thereof; and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter - We will give him thereof. And we will reward the grateful.
In order to cultivate and grow mature and responsible leadership, the Muslim community should have leaders who have undergone stringent preparation. Among the most important qualities needed are serious morality, unshaken support for the truth, patience in adversity, awareness of the strengths and weaknesses in human nature, ability to identify the causes of temptation and deviation and how they can be successfully countered. Other prerequisites would include passing the test of prosperity as well as that of hardship and the even more difficult test of hardship after prosperity...
It is through this sort of education that Allah prepares the Muslim community for the great and highly difficult role of leadership He has assigned to it. It is His will that man, whom He has placed as his vicegenerate in earth to safe-guard the precious grift of life on earth, so he [Allah] prepares us in a variety of ways to assume this role.

Holy Quran 3:144
------------------
Muhammad is not but a messenger. [Other] messengers have passed on before him. So if he was to die or be killed, would you turn back on your heels [to unbelief]? And he who turns back on his heels will never harm Allah at all; but Allah will reward the grateful.
Holy Quran 3:146
------------------
And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast.
Holy Quran 3:147
------------------
And their words were not but that they said, "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
Holy Quran 3:149
------------------
O you who have believed, if you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back on your heels, and you will [then] become losers.
{“O you who believe! Take care of your ownselves. If you follow the right guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who are in error…”} [al-Ma'idah; 105]
Abi Tha’labah said: “By Allah, I asked the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه و سلم) about this.
And, he (s.a.w.) said: “Rather, what this means is enjoin the good and prevent the bad until you see people succumb to covetousness, follow their desires, become corrupted by the worldly life, every one impressed with his own opinion, and you see that there is nothing else you can do. At that point, take care of yourself and don’t worry about the affair of the general populace, because there are indeed ahead of you days that require patience. Whoever is patient during those days will be like someone holding to a burning coal. And the one who does this from them will have the reward of fifty men who do what he is doing.” The Companions asked: “Messenger of Allah, the reward of fifty of those with him?” He said: “The reward of fifty of you.”“
